42-year-old dies of COVID-19 in Qatar as death toll climbs to 7, positive cases jump by 251

A 42-year-old resident with chronic diseases died of COVID-19 in Qatar on Sunday, bringing the death toll to seven.
Meanwhile, the total infected cases jumped by 251 to 2,979.
The last 24 hours also saw 28 more people making recovery from the disease to bring the total number of cured to 275 in Qatar.
All the newly infected individuals have been placed under complete isolation with necessary medical care. The ministry extended condolences to the family of the deceased.
The ministry called on the public to stay at home and don’t go out unnecessarily. It also urged the members of the society to adhere to all health guidelines and preventive measures to reduce the risk of infection, including sticking to social and physical distancing measures.
